The fielders act as collaborators with the bowlers in this work. A lot of times fielders can run out batsmen, but that's another matter. For now, we are talking about bowlers, basic bowling tips.

The hobby of many is to be a good bowler. But just throwing the ball on the field and you become a good bowler is not the case.

For this, it is important to know some basic things besides pursuit, attention, and hard work. Everything has certain rules. Success comes only when you do something according to the rules. Bowling, batting, fielding did not deviate from it. Bowlers also have to bowl according to some basic things.

Many are following the 10 fast bowling tips from famous bowlers. However, each bowler bowls differently. And the idea for a bowling action is to look at these five basic elements of bowling. And if you follow the tips, you can bowl in an ideal action.

Basic Bowling Tips

  1. Run-up
  2. Pre delivery stride
  3. Bound
  4. Release
  5. Follow through

1. Run-up: Starting the run-up requires taking small steps first. Gradually the steps need to be enlarged. With the speed must be increased.

Both arms should be kept close to the body. The head must be kept steady. Keeping an eye on the target means keeping an eye on your target, the batsman.

2. Pre delivery stride: The pre delivery stride is the jump given before releasing the ball. Place the ball near the chin. And the head will be behind the front high hand.

When you put your hind legs on the pitch, keep the body straight. The hind legs should be stable and support the whole body. And the front leg should be raised slightly.

The front foot should be facing the batsman while landing. If you keep your feet in this way, your feet will be ready to handle the full stress of delivery.

3. Bound: As you move towards the crease, bend the body slightly to the side and lean slightly backward.

4. Release: When the hand starts to rotate, push your bowling arm forward and down the coil position. And keep the other hand aimed at the batsman.

Rotate the hand completely. Release the ball to be the highest point of the vortex.

5. Follow through: When following through, bend the bowling arm and bring it towards the body. Turn to the side of the buttocks and finish the follow-through.

Because of your momentum you will move a little forward. The better it can be reduced. Because the less you go ahead, the better your chances of catching a return catch and, in some cases, getting a non-striking batsman out.

But there is no way to get in the middle of the pitch. Because if you do so, the match referee can fine you, ban multiple matches, or both against you under the pretext of "Damaging The Pitch".

Final word

Following all these basic bowling tips, you can bowl in a standard action. Opposing batsmen have to be defeated through disciplined bowling. So those who want to be a good pacer can follow these tips.
