Petersen thinks Morris is Overpaid

As a commentator or cricket analyst, Kevin Pietersen has always been a well-known outspoken speaker. Kevin Pietersen was one of the well-known all-rounder in the cricket world. The former England cricketer has expressed his personal opinion about Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Chris Morris after judging his performance in the first few matches of the IPL.

Proteas all-rounder Chris Morris has become the most expensive cricketer in the IPL auction so far by joining the Royals camp for USD 2 million. But Kevin Pietersen has commented that the money the Royals have taken from Morris is by no means appropriate.

Petersen recently said it might be too bad to hear. But to be honest, Morris has been included in the team at a much higher cost than what I got from the IPL. My point is not that he does not deserve this money. But I think a pressure is working on him.

He added that Morris was not the first choice in the South African national team. So I think we're living up to that expectation. There is unreasonable talk about him. I don't think he is a regular performer.

Morris batted 48 runs in the first four matches of the current IPL. In the second match, he won the match against Delhi Capitals unbeaten innings of 36 runs.

Strike rate 154.83. Morris has taken 5 wickets in the first four matches with the ball. All in all, Morris never felt special except for his performance in the Delhi match.

In last year's IPL, Royal Challengers Bangalore took a wicket with the ball, but the RCB did not hold Maurice this season as it failed in the final with the bat. However, a storm arose at the auction table with Morris.

In the end, Morris broke Yuvraj Singh's precedent and set a new precedent as the most expensive cricketer in the IPL auction.
